THE SENSOR

In addition to the immediate savings, which can be made by Powerboss Eluma each luminaire may be fitted with a sensor, which can further enhance the efficiency of your energy usage; hence reducing costs accordingly.

INSTANT SAVING

In a scenario where Powerboss Eluma is used to replace existing 400W metalhalide fittings (connected load 450W) on a one-to-one basis, an immediate saving of 50%is made in kW energy costs. Eluma can potentially replace twin 5ft fluorescents at a ratio of 5:1 and still maintain or improve light levels. In that case a connected load of over 700Wwould be replaced with one of 220W.These two typical retro-fit scenarios show clearly how indisputable savings can be made by Eluma.

ENVIRONMENTAL BENEFITS

0.43kg of CO2 is emitted in the generation of every kWh. It is clear therefore that by reducing electrical energy usage and hence the need to generate that power, CO2 emissions can be reduced accordingly.

In addition to substantially reducing costs, Eluma will generally improve light quality and reduce maintenance and re-lamping costs. Not only is Powerboss Eluma a highly efficient luminaire, however it also takes account of the fact that at most times, lighting is left on in all areas of a warehouse even when no one is working there. Additional, in many warehouses natural light is present through roof lights, however the lights are always fully on.

Powerboss Eluma intelligently senses occupancy in each area of the warehouse and/or the change in natural light and adjusts the light level and hence electrical energy usage accordingly.

Powerboss Eluma also automatically senses ambient daylight and/or the presence of opertives. It does this on a fitting-by-fitting basis. The individual fittings are the dimmed/brightened or switched off/on automatically to maximise savings and benefits.
